Tricia Barr, Teresa Delgado and Sarah Woloski take the show LIVE from the Podcast Stage at Celebration Orlando. Sandra Choute joins us to share a favorite convention moment. We are joined by Bethany Blanton from Star Wars Report to discuss our initial reactions to The Last Jedi trailer and panel.

In honor of Carrie Fisher, we highlight women with careers inspired by Star Wars. Ruth Amos, DK Publishing editor for Star Wars: Visual Encyclopedia talks about working on the book, and Holly Griffith from NASA shares how Leia inspired her to reach for the stars.

The character discussion ponders the relationships of Leia Organa within the saga. It's a must listen.

On our last episode of Fangirls Going Rogue, which only released a couple of days ago, we promised a whole lot of awesome this week. It's time to deliver with a special interview featuring Dave Filoni, Executive Producer of Star Wars Rebels. Of course, we had to ask about the storytelling in Season 3 and get hyped about Celebration - ONE WEEK AWAY! - but we also dove into his favorite moments at conventions and the #HotKallus phenomenon.

Also in this episode our reactions to his thoughts, plus a sneak peek at a new documentary about Star Wars fangirls called Looking For Leia from listener Annalise Ophelian.

Don't forget our Celebration Podcast Stage appearance will happen from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday. We will make it worth your time.

In a special episode Fangirls Going Rogue talk to three highly respected content creators working on the Star Wars franchise: Claudia Gray is a NYT Bestselling novelist who wrote the critically acclaimed Star Wars novels Lost Stars and Bloodine. Her new YA book, Defy The Stars - not Star Wars but you'll still love it - hits book stores on April 4, 2017. She joined Tricia Barr, Teresa Delgado and Sarah Woloski to talk about Star Wars, storytelling, fandom, and of course, her new book. Following on that fun interview, artists Joe Corroney and Brian Miller join the show to talk about their Celebration Art Show pieces "I Rebel" and "Star Wars: 40 Years of the Force."

This is a perfect episode to get in the mood for Celebration! Don't forget our Celebration Podcast Stage appearance will happen Friday from 3PM - 4PM.

One of the best things about Star Wars is making new friends and finding new voices in fandom. Rachael and Kirsty of Scavenger's Hoard found a bond in The Force Awakens, and they decided to podcast about storytelling and speculation. We had a blast hearing their story, pondering Luke's and Rey's states of mind after Episode VII, and finally taking a deep dive into Han Solo in our character discussion.
